Our Background

Afghan Civil Society Forum-organization (ACSFo) was established in partnership between Afghan civil society actors and “Swisspeace” (a Swiss private foundation for the promotion of peace) at the request of 76 participants of the first Afghan Civil Society Conference in Bad Honnef, Germany in 2001.

Vision and Mission

The Afghanistan Civil Society Forum-organization (ACSFo) envisions “a democratic, dynamic and vibrant society based on citizenry values”.

Our mission is “To facilitate the process of citizen building and state building through advocacy, capacity building and coordination”.

Objectives
Why We Do

Objectives

To coordinate, expand and foster civil society networks in Afghanistan and abroad.
To identify, raise and incorporate the needs, concerns and views of Afghan citizens into the political, social and economic development processes.
