What is civil society?

Civil society refers to the space which lies between the state and private sectors and represent un-coerced collective action around common interests, purposes and values. Civil society comprises a diversity of spaces, actors and institutions varying in their degree of formality, autonomy and power. Civil society is valued for its civilian nature and its role in strengthening peace and stability.

After graduation from the Faculty of Engineering as civil Engineer Eng. Noor Ahmad have worked with the Government in different areas of civil Engineering for example Building Construction, Estimation of Construction Material, Road Surveying, Building Members Design ( beam, slab, girder, column, footing and so on) and from the view point of Management Eng. Noor Ahmad had the first responsibility of several Construction Projects in general and finally the leadership of Engineering Department in Mortgage and Construction Bank.

Since 1999 Eng. Noor Ahmad have been working with theNGOs and ACSF. In CHA (coordination of humanitarian Assistance) Eng. Noor Ahmad worked in Monitoring and Capacity Building Departments. Eng. Noor Ahmad have the experience to monitor emergency projects, Engineering Development projects, Education project (accelerated learning program) , Irrigation Construction projects and Managing and Setting up workshops ( Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Leadership, TOT and so on).

In ACSF beside the mentioned skills in the professional site of Engineering and Education areas Eng. Noor Ahmad got the experience to monitor Social political program in Parliamentary election too.
